The Hong Kong protest movement led by Joshua Wong is known for its unconventional methods and tools, not only umbrellas. The farming game Animal Crossing New Horizons was recently banned from Chinese online stores by the government because of in-game protests by Hong Kong activists. Protest flyers are handed out, virtually and untraceable, via Apple’s Airdrop. In this exceptional conversation between Joshua Wong and Fridays for Future activist Luisa Neubauer we’ll learn how the younger generation has succeeded in gaining influence and taking part in decision-making processes driving their future.

The talk will be held in English.
